Specifications for Graphics:

Original photograph or clean, crisp, high-resolution printed graphics
-
Graphic or photo must be smaller than 8 1/2" x 11 1/2"
-
No photocopies
-
No fax copies
-
No previously printed graphics or photos (i.e. newspapers, yellow pages..)
-
No misc. objects (i.e. shirts, hats, yard signs...)

Specifications for Electronic Graphics:
|

Resolution: Best: High–300 dpi/ppi / Lowest accepted–200 dpi/ppi
(we cannot increase dpi without original print/photo)
-
File Formats: .TIF, .EPS, .JPEG, .PDF, .AI, .PSD
-
E-mailed graphics must be smaller than 10 MB
-
Web site graphics cannot be used (Resolution too low)

CAMERA-READY ADS:
|
|
Camera-ready ads are to be submitted electronically and ready to go to press.
|
Electronic C/R ads guidelines are:
|
-
Resolution of 300 dpi (Low resolution C/R ads will not be used)
-
File formats: .EPS, .PDF, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, .TIF
(Adobe PageMaker may be used if no other option is available)
-
File formats that cannot be used: Word, WordPerfect, PowerPoint, Publisher
-
All graphics need to be included on disc
-
All fonts need to be created into outlines, or all fonts used need to be included on disc
(fonts must be Mac format)
-
Black and White art work should be saved in Grayscale.
-
Color art work should be saved in CMYK color mode.

Ads may not include cut-out coupons, however if you'd like to include a special offer, you may do so.
|
|
For Example: "Mention This HomePages® Ad to Receive 10% off."
|
|
The offer should not ask the customer to tear out a page or bring in the directory to your business.
|
