Abram Andrzejewski is the founder and CEO of American Marketing & Publishing.
Abe got an early start in the publishing business at age 19, when he launched a series of paid-purchase coupon books as an undergraduate student and then began publishing one-town telephone books for small towns in rural Illinois, where he grew up. That small business continued to grow through college and graduate school, and eventually scaled to produce student and faculty directories for prominent MBA programs and law schools, including Stanford, Harvard, and Columbia.
Convinced of the extraordinary opportunity presented by a community-focused telephone directory serving other family owned businesses as its only focus, Abe published the first HomePages® Directory in 1997. Since then, the business has grown from two initial employees and eight rural directories to a company that today employs more than 350 people and that annually publishes 500 directories in ten
states, with an advertising clientele in excess of 50,000 small businesses. Abe is an avid freshwater fisherman and a member of the Chicago Young Presidents Organization.
